This will be the primary workout for the day for the Advanced and Senior Group. Intermediate swimmers are welcome to get some long course experience, but their primary workouts will be in the afternoon. Intermediate swimmers attending the morning workout should expect a little more of a challenge (a little more "work", a little less "teaching"). This practice is not recommended for Beginners, but if any beginners are planning on swimming long course meets over the summer they are welcome to stop by to get a little bit of experience in the big pool.
The afternoons will be the primary workout for the Intermediate and Beginner groups. They will be supplemental workouts for the Advanced and Senior Groups (they are valuable but make sure you get to the AM's first!). At Euclid, SR + ADV swimmers need to bring dryland gear to every afternoon practice, including running shoes; this is where we will do our dryland, lifting, and a lot of in water power work (cords + racks).
Equipment for the Advanced and Senior Swimmers
ADV & SR swimmers should bring all equipment to the morning workouts: Paddles, Fins, and Snorkels. We are asking all ADV and SR swimmers to purchase a snorkel (this is not mandatory but recommended). All other equipment can be borrowed from Euclid (talk to coach Steve), but please purchase your own if you are able.
